Van Apple
Diederik Van Apple (Leiden 1985-NL) has definitively broken through beyond his national borders. He has exhibited in Milan, Copenhagen, London, New York, Miami and Paris.Van Apple's works of art are a combination of digital art, such as photography of iconic figures or well-known brands, in combination with various other techniques. The basis is aluminum or gold foil on thick panels. He then adds various elements, such as holograms, stones and other objects.
All works of art are finished by hand with various layers of epoxy.
By adding these layers, he is able to create innovative and unique mixed-media art with a fantastic 3D effect.
