The 24 Hours of Le Mans is a car race held since 1923 on the, since 2018, 13.626 km Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France. The circuit is named after the Sarthe River, on which Le Mans is located. The circuit is run "clockwise" . During the race, the goal is to drive as many laps as possible in 24 hours. The race takes place every year in June.
