These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of this website.
Article 2: Intellectual property
All content of our website, including the brands, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, artworks, paintings etc. are protected by intellectual rights and are owned by DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT or by third parties. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
You may only display and print the materials on this website for personal and non-commercial use.
Article 3: Prices & Payments
The prices of the artworks are shown in euros, VAT included. We offer different payment methodes: Credit Card, Bancontact, Paypal and iDeal.
Article 4: Delivery & Refund
We deliver our products within the EU in cooperation with DHL. All goods will be delivered to the address provided at the time of the order. DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT will try to deliver as soon as possible. These delivery dates, communicated in writing or via the website, are always estimates. Delivery periods are given under the reservation that the customer meets his contractual duties of cooperation. The delivery costs will be paid by the customer.
Items purchased at dirkstuyvesant.com may be returned within fourteen days after the receipt. We will provide a refund in the same method used to make the payment, provided we have received the items in the manufacturer’s packaging, in perfect and undamaged condition. The returns must be made by the customer and the additional costs are at the expense of the customer. Refunds will not be made until we have received the purchased products.
Each work is insured against theft, damage and loss during shipment. If this is the case, the customer must submit a claim for damages within 48 hours after delivery of the shipment. After these 48 hours, we will no longer be able to submit the claim and DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT will no longer be liable.
DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT has the right to refuse returned artworks in case of damage. If the damage to the artwork can be repaired, a fee will be charged and the customer will receive the remaining amount back.
Article 5: Privacy & Security
The buyer's personal data will be included in an internal database. DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT guarantees the protection of personal data to the best of its ability. Personal data will only be passed on to third parties if necessary for the execution of the sales agreement (e.g. the address for delivery by the transport company). Permission will be requested when filling in the form.
Article 6: Force majeure
In case of force majeure, we are not obliged to fulfill our obligations. In that case we can either suspend our obligations or dissolve the agreement definitively.
Force majeure is any circumstance beyond our will and control that prevents the fulfillment of our obligations. This includes strikes, fire, business interruptions, power failures, failures in a network or communication systems, the unavailability of our website, non-delivery or late delivery of suppliers or other third parties, etc.
Article 7: Liability
We have the right to modify, supplement and or adapt our terms and conditions at any time without notice or notification.
DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT gives no guarantees for the proper functioning of the website www.dirkstuyvesant.com. DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT can not be held liable for a temporary unavailability of the website or a malfunction. DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT can not be directly or indirectly held liable in any way for damage resulting from the use of this website or of another. By damage we mean work interruptions, damage to programs or other data on the computer system, equipment, software, etc. of the user.

Article 9: Applicable law
All comments in connection with these general terms must be addressed to DNA CONSULTING BV/DIRK STUYVESANT. All our services are governed by the Belgian law. In the case of dispute, only the Nivelles court have jurisdiction.
